This photograph of the Queens' Sitting Room by Bruce White was taken in 2000 during the Bill Clinton administration. The room, located on the Second Floor of the Executive Mansion, is adjacent to the Queens' Bedroom. From 1962-1963 First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy redecorated the room, adding the dark blue and white cotton wallpaper and black and gold furniture. The tea table at center was previously own by Mrs. Kennedy, who left it at the White House upon her departure.
